Mary Hanson will introduce driving: How to start. Necessary equipment. Information on harnesses and needed equipment. Carriage types. She will also explain competitive & pleasure driving. There will be driving demonstrations to watch.
Mary Hanson is a long time carriage driver and a founding member of the Eastern Nebraska Driving Society. She competed with her great driving Morgan mare, Twyla throughout the Midwest and Manitoba, Canada. In 1989 Mary was the first Western Regional Single Horse Driving Championship at the Intermediate Level. Mary has given driving clinics in Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin.
Admission is free to NHC individual members and their registered family members. Admission is free to one NHC association member. ($1 for each additional association member).
