Barrel Racing Basics

Donna will discuss starting the barrel horse thru finishing; including exercises for training and tuning. We will learn about conditioning and horsemanship. Tack and attire for the barrel racer will also be covered. There will be timed demonstrations.
Donna Snover has been barrel racing for several years. She has enjoyed starting colts and training her own horses and other horses for barrels. She currently gives lessons and does some barrel racing on weekends. Donna is a member of NBHA, MBRA, Salt Creek wranglers and a past member of the Nebraska Quarter Horse Association and NHCA.
Admission is free to NHC individual members and their registered family members. Admission is free to to NHC association member ( $1 for each additional association member)
$10 Admission for non-members or free with purchase of NHC membership.
Directions: D R Arena 11380 Rokeby Rd Lincoln, NE. Out of Lincoln go east 0n HWY 2 to South 120th Street, turn South and take first right, which is Rokeby Rd. Go west to first place on Rokeby Road (approx 1/3mile)
