Why Should You Join The

Nebraska Horse Council ?

The Nebraska Horse Council is an association of individuals, organizations and businesses who care about horses and the horse industry.  The goal of the NHC is to unite, inform, and represent Nebraska ’s horse community.  The NHC was organized in 1993.  The American Horse Council was formed in 1969 and has become a recognized voice of the American horse industry.  Many states enjoy the benefits of having a state horse council.

Why join the Nebraska Horse Council?  That's a good question.  There is only so much time in a day and everyone is busy with family, work, and their own horses and interests.  The NHC cannot be all things to all people, but we try to meet the needs of Nebraska horse owners and horse-related businesses.

The following is a list of benefits for NHC members.  It is not a complete list and is subject to change as new issues arise.  We are always open to suggestions for new ways to benefit our members.  Please feel free to share your ideas with us.  We hope you will join and become active to continue to strengthen the Nebraska Horse Council.

Membership Benefits:
